Love Triangle Australia’s first Couple’s Party has well and truly kicked off – and already the bombshells are dropping like flies.

But no one could prepare themselves for an off-camera confession that would blow one couple’s relationship out of the water and into the frying pan.

Following their first date in episode 2, Payton and Jordan were taking things at a slow pace, with the 25-year-old business owner slowly warming up to her match despite his numerous no-nos that had us placing a question mark next to his name (seriously, what grown man doesn’t know how to cook?).

However, Jordan’s red flags only seemed more vibrant at the Couple’s Party after he told multiple participants that he and Payton were in the ‘friend zone’ – a revelation Payton seemed blissfully unaware of.

And then, the controversial reality star unleashed off-camera in a vile rant.

‘F*** you man, you know I’m not attracted to that,’ Jordan could be heard telling a co-star.

He proceeded to go on an offensive tirade, seemingly claiming that Payton was not what he had expected physically.

‘I asked for small, tanned, ethnic… She is the complete opposite in every single thing.’

Jordan gave Married At First Sight’s Tim Gromie a run for his money as he continued with his derogatory comments.

‘I’m not gonna f***ing date her. It’s bulls**t,’ he went on.

‘Literally, any other girl here I would be into.’

The reality star’s bombshell revelations went on as he expressed his concerns over looking like a ‘d***’ if he goes through with the relationship.

‘If I f***ed her or whatever then I’m like even more of a f***wit.’

‘Like there’s just no way I’m not looking like an a**hole after this, dude.’

Jordan proceeded to go on a racist, offensive tirade, claiming that Payton was not what he had expected physically

The brutal confession came just minutes after Jordan had publicly told Payton that ‘the door was open’ for the pair to progress romantically.

But Payton must’ve sensed the contradictions in the air, expressing concern that Jordan was ‘hiding something’.

‘There’s half of me that wants to believe him because we have built a friendship,’ she told the cameras.

‘But then, there’s another half of me that’s also like, he has been hiding something, he’s been withholding some form of the truth.’

Elsewhere in the heated episode, things between ex-MAFS groom Mike Gunner and his new love match Melinda exploded harder than Mike’s spray tan circa 2019.

The 50-year-old former Married At First Sight groom joined the third season of Stan’s steamy dating experiment Love Triangle, but let’s just say his comeback isn’t quite the redemption arc he was banking on.

From the moment he walked in, Mike looked like a man hoping nobody clocked his reality resume. Spoiler alert: we all did. And so did his match, 41-year-old Melinda — a queen who clearly doesn’t suffer from fools or faux celebrity status.

The drama kicked off the morning of the very first Couple’s Party, but by then the real party — the drama one — had already popped off the night before.

‘What happened last night? Well… it was a sh*t show,’ Melinda deadpans to producers, sipping tea so scalding it probably melted her lip gloss.

Here’s what went down: Mike walked in on a producer sitting on Melinda’s bed. Late at night. Door closed. Now, was it innocent? Absolutely. Was Mike spiralling into a jealous fit faster than you can say ‘roll the tapes’? Also yes.

‘There was a guy in your bedroom who should not have been there,’ Mike huffs, still clutching his pride like it’s 2019 again and he’s giving relationship advice no one asked for.

Melinda, staying calm but clearly over it, tries to explain the crew member was just doing a welfare check. But Mike isn’t buying it — and Melinda? She’s done. Like send the Uber done.

In the morning, Melinda makes the noble attempt to clear the air — but the moment Mike starts getting defensive and saying he’s always honest on camera because the ‘audience trusts him,’ she drops the reality TV nuke.

‘So, I really hate to say this,’ she begins, pausing with the precision of a woman who knows she’s about to end a man’s whole career, ‘but you’re nowhere near as relevant as you think you are. You are a 50-year-old washed up reality TV star.’

BOOM.

So as the Couple’s Party looms, the real question isn’t ‘will they make it work?’ It’s ‘how long before Melinda drops her next one-liner and turns this series into her personal roast comedy hour?’

Mike might’ve hoped for a comeback but what he got was a televised takedown. And we’re not mad about it.
