The “Baby” singer, 30, took to his Instagram Stories with a cryptic message about growth and maturity on Thursday, February 20. “It’s time to grow up,” he wrote in the post, which was set to John Mayer’s song “Free Fallin’.”

Justin continued, “Changing is about letting go! Not trying harder! Are you tired of trying to follow all of the rules in hopes to get the results you crave? I’ve found love to be more powerful than rules. I tried to follow the rules. I’m not good at it.”

The “Stay” hitmaker added that people “don’t need to follow rules to enter into a life of love.”

“U just receive so enter love living! God always grants us love! Its one of his promises! Upon receiving Gods love! U start to change and start following love,” he wrote.

Justin added that he shifted his perspective in order to grow.

“You don’t work to mature. You let go to mature! Today I’m letting go and remembering the weight isn’t on me to change. The weight is on God,” he concluded.

“So I give all my insecurities and my fears to him this morning. Because I know he gladly takes it. Asking Jesus to genuinely help me with simply the next step today.”

Justin’s message came weeks after he and Hailey, 28, experienced their latest round of rumors about martial issues.

Fans speculated that the couple was having trouble when Justin appeared to temporarily unfollow Hailey on Instagram. However, he re-followed her hours later and denied that he was the one who unfollowed her in the first place.

“Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” the Grammy winner wrote on Instagram on January 21. “S–t is getting suss out here.”

Justin and Hailey, who welcomed son Jack Blues Bieber in August 2024, also faced relationship speculation in December 2024 when fans dissected their social media posts. It began when the “Peaches” singer posted an Instagram Story selfie using the song “B.E.D.” by Jacquees.

The excerpt from the song featured lyrics about a man who just wanted to hook up with a woman instead of looking for love.

Hailey seemingly responded with a screenshot of lyrics from SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s song “30 for 30” on her Instagram Story.

“But if it’s f–k me, then f–k you,’” the post read.

Fans also noticed that the couple seemingly spent the holidays apart, as Hailey jetted off to Anguilla with Lori Harvey and Justine Skye.

However, Hailey seemed to fire back at the rumors about her marriage on December 30, 2024, when she reposted a TikTok video of someone telling viewers, “You’re not well, and it’s OK.”

The mom of one added over the clip, “Me to all of you on the internet,” along with a heart hands emoji.

It’s also not the first time Hailey has hit back at haters, as she denied her marriage was in trouble in a March 2024 Instagram post.

“Just FYI the stories and constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100 [percent] of the time wrong,” the model wrote.

“Made out of thin air… come from the land of delusion. So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories, but just know they’re always false, xx sorry to spoil it.”

Later, in a July 2024 interview with W Magazine, Hailey explained, “People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one.

‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy.”
