Angelina Jolie is taking a firm stance when it comes to her son Pax Jolie-Pitt’s safety on the road. 

Following a series of serious accidents, the actress has reportedly imposed strict conditions before allowing him to get back behind the wheel.

Sources reveal that the 20-year-old has agreed to defensive driving lessons and has even signed a contract promising to wear his helmet at all times.

Jolie Implements Strict Safety Measures

Pax, the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has had multiple close calls while driving, prompting his mother to take action.

A source shared that Jolie is deeply concerned about his driving habits and wants to ensure he understands the dangers involved.

“She’d love it if Pax would take these accidents as a warning and give up on this need for speed, but that’s very unlikely,” the insider revealed.

Pax’s love for speed reportedly began in childhood, when he would ride dune buggies and race across the sand in Santa Barbara with his father, Brad Pitt. While Jolie initially saw nothing wrong with his adventurous streak, she now regrets encouraging those behaviors. However, given that Pax is an adult, she knows she cannot stop him from riding his electric bike.

Still, she is determined to make sure he takes extra precautions. “She does at least want him to take some defensive driving lessons before he gets back out there,” the source added. “He’s agreed to that as part of the consequences of the crash. And she’s made him sign a contract promising he’ll always wear his helmet.”

“It’s still going to give her anxiety every time he leaves the house on his bike,” the insider admitted. “All she can do is hope that Pax is realizing how lucky he is to be alive with his brain intact and that he will act more responsibly on the road going forward.”

Pax has been involved in multiple dangerous crashes over the past year. In May 2024, he totaled his Tesla in a severe accident. Just two months later, in July, he suffered serious injuries in a traumatic e-bike crash. Despite these frightening experiences, his love for speed persisted. In January 2025, Pax found himself in yet another incident, mere weeks after being released from the ICU.

While his past crashes have not completely deterred him from riding, the agreement with his mother may serve as a wake-up call. With defensive driving lessons and a commitment to always wearing his helmet, Pax may begin to take his safety more seriously.
