Tasha Ghouri has captured the hearts of Strictly Come Dancing fans with her inspiring journey,

and as her time on the show and its live tour came to an emotional close, she reflected on what truly matters to her the most.
The reality star and dancer, who first rose to fame on Love Island, made it all the way to the Strictly final in 2024.
Partnered with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec—who returned to the competition for its milestone 20th-anniversary series

after a two-year break—Tasha impressed viewers with her skill, determination, and vibrant performances.

While she and Aljaž narrowly missed out on lifting the Glitterball trophy,

which was ultimately claimed by comedian Chris McCausland and his partner Dianne Buswell, their journey was far from over.
Following the main series, Tasha and Aljaž continued to take the stage across the UK as part of the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour. The tour, which featured some of the show’s biggest stars, was a chance for fans to see their favorite contestants perform their most beloved routines once more.
The live audiences at each venue had the opportunity to vote for their winning couple, and Tasha and Aljaž quickly became the tour’s standout stars.
A week before the final show, it was confirmed that they had won the most votes across the majority of performances, securing their status as the overall winners of the Strictly live tour.
Despite strong competition from runners-up Sarah Hadland and Nikita Kuzmin, the duo’s undeniable chemistry and audience appeal helped them come out on top.
As the tour prepared to wrap up at London’s O2 Arena, Tasha was met with a heartwarming surprise from the creators of All on the Board.
The duo, known for their uplifting messages on Transport for London notice boards, dedicated a special tribute to her at North Greenwich station.

The message read:
“Like the sun on Love Island, you shone upon the ballroom floor and through television screens across the nation. In the autumn and winter months, you provided warmth during the cold weather…”
Alongside the heartfelt words, All on the Board shared their admiration for Tasha’s influence, particularly her role as an advocate for the deaf community.
“Tasha Ghouri, thank you for being a truly wonderful person and incredible ambassador for the deaf community, as well as an inspiration for anyone with a dream fighting adversity to reach it.
We hope you feel the beat from the hearts of the entire crowd in The O2 as you dance your heart out and show why we must never give up on those dreams.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have met you and to finally have the chance to write this poem to you. Thank you for being you, Tasha. Love, Ian & Jeremy @allontheboard.”
Tasha’s Emotional Reaction
Tasha was deeply moved by the tribute and took to Instagram to share her appreciation. Posting a photo of herself with the board, she wrote:

“This is pretty cool!! @allontheboard—every time I went to the O2 for a concert, I would always see these amazing boards in North Greenwich.
I met Ian and Jeremy at a premiere, and they are the kindest souls. They have done a board for me… such beautiful words and a powerful message.
This is just magical—thank you! Moments I’ll cherish forever x. If you see it on the way into the O2, take pictures!”
She also took to her Instagram Stories to reflect on the importance of using her platform to uplift others.
“What matters to me the most is being able to be a superhero out there, helping people with disabilities find their self-confidence and self-love. The world can be cruel, but YOU do matter. No one else is you, and that’s your biggest power.”

Beyond the recognition from All on the Board, Tasha was overwhelmed by the response from fans, many of whom took the time to visit North Greenwich station and capture photos with the tribute. She expressed her gratitude, saying:
“You all are making me cry!! I’m not ready for this to end, but what a magical six months it’s been! You’ve been so supportive of my journey—thank you.”
As her time on Strictly Come Dancing officially comes to an end, Tasha’s impact on the show and her audience remains undeniable. From her impressive performances to her advocacy work, she has proven that dance is more than just movement—it’s a platform for self-expression, empowerment, and change.
