BBC’s ongoing schedule shakeup has resulted in the temporary removal of Wynne Evans’ popular travel show, All At Sea, from its usual Monday night slot.

This move comes just weeks after the GoCompare star was axed
from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour following a controversial remark made on It Takes Two.
BBC Reschedules Wynne Evans’ Show for EastEnders Special

The disruption to Wynne & Joanna: All At Sea is part of a broader BBC scheduling adjustment in celebration of EastEnders’ 40th anniversary.

The long-running soap opera, which first aired in 1985, has taken priority in programming this week, leading to additional special episodes and documentaries marking the milestone.

As a result, All At Sea, which typically airs on Mondays at 8:30 PM, was removed from its original slot on February 17 to accommodate a special EastEnders documentary hosted by Ross Kemp.
Titled EastEnders: 40 Years on The Square, the documentary sees the former soap star reconnecting with past and present cast members to reflect on the show’s impact and legacy.
Fortunately for fans of Wynne and his co-host Joanna Page, the travel show has not been permanently canceled. Instead, it has been rescheduled to air on Wednesday at the same time, allowing viewers to follow the duo as they continue their journey along the Welsh coast.
What Is All At Sea About?
Wynne & Joanna: All At Sea is a six-part travel series in which Wynne Evans and Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page embark on a scenic sailing adventure around Wales. The program takes them from Cardiff to St Davids, with stops at picturesque coastal locations.

Monday’s displaced episode was set to feature the duo traveling from Carmarthenshire Bay to Tenby in Pembrokeshire.
As part of their journey, the episode highlights Laugharne, the former home of renowned Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. In a heartwarming moment, Wynne surprises Joanna—a busy mother of four—with a relaxing spa retreat for some well-deserved self-care.
Recent Controversy Surrounding Wynne Evans
The scheduling changes come at a tumultuous time for Wynne Evans, who has been at the center of controversy in recent weeks.
The GoCompare opera singer was unexpectedly dropped from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour after making an allegedly “inappropriate” comment to It Takes Two host Janette Manrara.

Though details surrounding the incident remain limited, it led to his removal from the tour, despite his popularity during his time on the show.
The fallout from the situation reportedly led Wynne to take a break from his BBC Radio Wales program, although his television projects, including All At Sea, have continued to air.
Fans React to the Schedule Shakeup
Wynne’s fans expressed their disappointment over the schedule change, with many taking to social media to voice their frustration.
Some viewers had anticipated tuning in for the travel show on Monday night, only to find the EastEnders special taking its place.
One Twitter user wrote, “Really gutted that Wynne and Joanna’s show has been bumped this week. I was looking forward to it!”

Another added, “Wish BBC wouldn’t keep moving things around. I love watching Wynne & Joanna’s adventures.”
Despite the disruption, others were relieved to learn that the show had been rescheduled rather than canceled outright.
BBC’s Focus on EastEnders’ 40th Anniversary
The decision to prioritize EastEnders this week highlights the BBC’s commitment to celebrating the soap’s four-decade-long legacy. The anniversary documentary is just one of several special episodes planned to commemorate the occasion.

The milestone is expected to bring former cast members back to Albert Square for emotional reunions and nostalgic reflections, making it a significant television event for longtime fans of the show.
What’s Next for Wynne Evans?
While All At Sea remains on the air, questions still linger about Wynne Evans’ long-term future with the BBC following his Strictly controversy. Reports have suggested that he is considering taking legal action against the network over what he perceives as unfair treatment regarding his removal from the live tour.

For now, however, viewers can still catch his travel series as he and Joanna Page continue their picturesque Welsh adventure. Fans can tune in on Wednesday at 8:30 PM for the latest episode, as the duo explores the stunning coastline, making memorable stops along the way.
