EAMONN Holmes was kissed on the nose by new lover Katie Alexander during a tender public display of affection.

The couple puckered up amid a crowd of fans as they cheered on her eldest son in an amateur cup final.

And TV host Eamonn stood from his wheelchair, holding on to a railing, as they got into the tense game in Wakefield, West Yorks – with onlookers describing them as “loved up”.

Glamorous blonde-haired Katie, in a green anorak and black outfit, held Eamonn’s hand and lent in for a smooch as he clutched a drink.

The silver-haired broadcaster sat pensively on the sidelines in blue trousers, jumper and coat. But at one stage he impressed his partner by clutching a barrier in front of him and unsteadily lifting himself from his chair.

The duo showed how strong their love is while Eamonn and ex-wife Ruth Langsford continue to debate their divorce settlement.

But the breakfast TV favourite was only focused on football as he joined marriage counsellor Katie at Crofton Community Centre for the FA Presidents Cup clash between local sides The Last Bank FC and Vulcan FC.

A source said: “Katie so often heads down to be with Eamonn in his bachelor pad in South West London, but Eamonn showed her just what love means by heading north so she didn’t miss her son’s important match.

“And on the touchline the pair looked deeply in love. They were incredibly tactile, spending as much time gazing at each other as they did concentrate on the pitch.

“Katie showed just how deeply she cares for her celebrity partner by leaning down and kissing him gently on the nose as he sat pensively in his wheelchair. It was a sensitive moment demonstrating just how grateful she was to have him by her side.”

And Katie was ecstatic as her eldest son Ben, 23, won the final with his Vulcan teammates 2-0, applauding enthusiastically as they lifted the cup on Sunday afternoon.

The Sun exclusively revealed last May that Eamonn and Ruth were getting divorced. The couple gave us a statement confirming their split.

We also told how Eamonn lavished treats on Katie. A year before his marriage broke down, Eamonn attended a small fundraising event in Yorkshire mental health counselling charity Platform 1 – agreeing to become a patron.

It was just minutes from Katie’s home in Mirfield. The charity is where she worked for up to two years.

Eamonn’s and Ruth’s divorce will finally be sealed within weeks.
