Katie Price has made a surprising revelation about her home life, 

admitting that she has banned mirrors from her house despite undergoing numerous cosmetic procedures over the years.

The 45-year-old former glamour model, who recently traveled to Turkey for another round of surgery,

shared that she avoids looking at herself, revealing deep-rooted insecurities about her appearance.

Struggles with Self-Image

Despite having spent decades in the spotlight and being well-known for her love of cosmetic enhancements, Katie has confessed that she doesn’t see herself as attractive.

“I don’t like looking at myself,” she admitted, adding, “I don’t think I’m pretty, I certainly don’t think I’m beautiful.”

Speaking to The Sun, she reflected on old pictures of herself with a sense of dissatisfaction. “I look at old photos of myself and think: ‘Urrrgh!’”

she said. Although she’s undergone multiple procedures, including at least 17 breast augmentations, Katie insists she’s not afraid of aging. However, she has a bleak outlook on her future, stating, “I don’t think I will make it to be an old lady.”

Despite her self-criticism, she now claims to be content with her facial features after years of tweaks and transformations.

“For the first time, I am happy with my face. No more facial surgery – well, not unless I make it to 70,” she remarked.

Latest Surgery in Turkey

Last month, Katie made another trip to Turkey for what she described as minor adjustments following her sixth £10,000 facelift.

In addition to refining her previous work, she underwent an ear pinning procedure to achieve a more sculpted look.

An insider speaking to OK! revealed that while Katie often downplays her surgeries, they are more significant than she lets on.

“She has to undergo various types of anesthesia, and she’s doing it in a foreign country, far away from home,” the source shared, highlighting the risks involved.

Before the latest procedures, Katie took to social media to update her fans, saying, “From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking.

Well, they need tweaking. So here I am getting ready.” She admitted her biggest fear about surgery isn’t the procedure itself but the initial injection. “That’s the worst bit for me, the needle. The needle’s done so now I can relax,” she explained.

Dramatic Weight Loss and IVF Struggles

Katie’s changing appearance has also sparked conversations among her fans, particularly regarding her noticeable weight loss.

Some followers speculated that she had turned to weight-loss injections, but the reality star was quick to set the record straight.

Addressing the concerns, Katie revealed that her recent weight fluctuations were due to failed IVF treatments and past injuries that kept her from staying active.

Speaking on The Disruptors podcast with Rob Moore, she explained, “So people have said I’ve lost loads of weight.

Now there’s a program coming out in January, my IVF journey. Anyone you know who’s had IVF, you put on weight.”

She disclosed that she had undergone three IVF attempts in the last 15 months, all of which were unsuccessful.

The treatments, combined with a broken foot that left her in a wheelchair for 10 months, led to significant weight gain.

“I wasn’t exercising, couldn’t ride my horses, so basically, I was in a wheelchair for 10 months,” she said.

Reflection on Surgery and Self-Perception

Katie has undergone multiple cosmetic procedures over the years, but she now wonders what has driven her to continually alter her appearance.

“Perhaps that explains all the surgery – in all the therapy I’ve had, one thing that I haven’t stemmed down the line of is, ‘Why do I feel I need to have surgery?’” she questioned.

She also pointed out how the COVID-19 lockdown affected her body. “Around the time of COVID, you’re bound to put on weight because you’re not moving about.

Then I had to learn to walk again, but slowly, I still can’t run now, because I’ve got screws in my feet,” she explained.

Now that her IVF treatments are over and her body has adjusted, Katie insists she has simply returned to her natural size.

“I say to people, if you look at old pictures of me, even after I’ve had babies, I just shrink back. I’ve always been tiny,” she asserted.

Despite banning mirrors from her home and struggling with self-image, Katie remains active in the public eye.

Whether through reality TV, social media, or interviews, she continues to share her personal journey with fans. While she insists that she is done with facial surgeries for now, only time will tell if she remains committed to that decision.
