Isla Fisher’s “amicable” divorce from Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen has allegedly “soured” as the former golden couple spar over a reported $250 million fortune.

Isla Fisher’s “amicable” divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen has allegedly “soured” as the former Hollywood golden couple go to war over a reported $250 million fortune.

The former couple, who share three children, previously split their time between homes in Sydney, London and Los Angeles after their 2010 wedding in Paris.

Fisher, 49, and Baron Cohen, 53, announced their separation in April last year via a joint statement on social media.

“After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” the former couple wrote alongside a photo of themselves in tennis whites.

Initially, both stars remained tight lipped about the seemingly amicable split as they sort out their considerable joint fortune.

However, Fisher appeared to break from the cheery tone in a revealing interview to The Sunday Times in February.

“It’s the most difficult thing I’ve been through,” Fisher said of the divorce, while praising the support of female friends.

“The women in my life have held me… I’m sitting here today because of them.”

The actress raised eyebrows again last week after posting a throwback photo featuring one of Fisher’s famous lines from the 2019 comedy film Greed.

“I mean, I’m not a gynaecologist, but I know a c*** when I see one,” the caption said.

Fisher’s alleged divorce battle comes as the actress continues her return to the spotlight following a brief hiatus amid her shock split from the Ali G funny man.

In February, Fisher led the voice cast on the animated film Dog Man and appeared in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo role in the latest Bridget Jones film.

“She loved being back in the thick of things,” an insider close to the Aussie actress told The Sun newspaper earlier this month, who claimed the previously amicable split had “soured”.

“But Sacha is not happy about it at all – she’s come out fighting and it’s come as a bit of a shock.”

The former Home And Away actress recently consolidated her property portfolio after selling off an apartment in Sydney’s ritzy Woollahra.

Fisher reportedly paid just $171,500 for the two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in the late Art Deco block Wiltshire Towers back in 1995 and unloaded the property for a rumoured $930,000.

It is understood the movie star, who is reportedly still far from finalising her financial settlement from Baron Cohen, no longer owns property in the country after the Woollahra sale.
