Two years after appearing on Married At First Sight, Ollie Skelton has announced that he’s gotten engaged. The 28-year-old voice-over artist, who was paired with Tahnee Cook on season 10 of the reality show, took to Instagram on Friday morning to reveal that he had proposed to his girlfriend Nadia.

“Yesterday afternoon I proposed to Nadia. If you squint your eyes a little bit you’ll see that she said YES!” he wrote alongside a video of the proposal, which took place on a dock at sunset.

Ollie and Nadia started dating in March 2024, four months after he and Tahnee announced their split, and made their relationship Instagram official the following month.

The announcement was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages from fellow MAFS stars, including relationship expert Alessandra Rampolla, who commented three red hearts.

“OMGOSHHHH congrats ❤️🙌,” Evelyn Ellis wrote, followed by Duncan James, who said, “Yessss my man. Stoked for you”.

“Omg big congrats guys! Woo hoo Ollie so happy for you,” Melinda Willis shared, with Layton Mills adding, “Big time! 💙💙 ‘It’s a lovely day’.”

“So happy for you both,” Rupert Bugden said, while Cam Woods replied, “Ahhh mate congratulations to you both. Exciting times ahead”.

“Eeeeek congrats!!!!❤️” Lauren Dunn commented.

Ollie isn’t the only MAFS star who recently announced their engagement, with Clint Rice proposing to Jacqui Burfoot earlier this month. Clint popped the question at a reunion viewing party in front of 150 attendees and later confirmed the news on social media with photos of the custom-made ring, which is believed to be worth $30,000.

Jacqui recently told Yahoo Lifestyle that while she always anticipated having a “private” and “quiet” proposal, she believes it was “genius” for Clint to do it at the So Dramatic! event surrounded by fans who were “screaming with happiness”.

“It was exactly what we needed after the season we had,” she shared. “So it was the best proposal I could have even imagined. The best time of my life, and I was just like, this is why I love him. This is why I love Clint, because he thinks of everything and he’s so switched on, so smart.”

Clint added that he began planning the proposal a month ago and originally wanted to do it the night before the event.

“I was like, [I should organise] a nice little romantic dinner, go down by the harbour, and get down on one knee,” he detailed. “And then when we committed to the party, I was like, actually, this will be fun to share it with everyone who loves the show and is there to support the show. Why not let everyone in on a front row seat to a big moment?”
