EXCLUSIVE: There’s no denying that Married At First Sight’s fashion-forward bride Carina had some head-turning looks this season.
Whether you loved them or hated them, Carina had everyone looking with her daring fashion choices – and some come with quite the hefty price tag.
Speaking to 9Entertainment, Carina revealed that she spent anywhere between $12,000 to $15,000 on her outfits.
“I take a lot of pride and put a lot of effort into my appearance. I just love good quality all around me,” the 31-year-old said.

Carina named Argentine-Spanish model Georgina Rodríguez and TV personality Chrishell Stause as her fashion inspirations.
“I feel like I’ve got a similar body frame and features to Georgina so I can easily recreate what she wears,” the MAFS bride explained.
“As for Chrishell, she wears a lot of crystal and is always glowing and experimenting with new hairstyles so I like to take inspiration from that.”

Carina added that she found the styling process, from outfit to hair and make-up, very “empowering”, especially when she returned to the Reunion to face her ex Paul for the first time in over a month.
For her Reunion look, Carina served the ultimate revenge look wearing a sculptural black gown with crimped hair and fierce make-up.
While the Reunion saw ex-husband Paul try rewrite their relationship history after multiple misgivings on his end, Carina insisted that the pair are still civil.
“We’re mates. I’m friends with everyone in the experiment. I dislike having bad blood with anyone, but Paul and I are mates,” she explained their friendship now.
“We do check in with one another, just make sure that we’re both OK, because we obviously did go through this wild ride together.
“I just want to make sure that he’s all good and check-in on him occasionally, and vice versa. But yeah we’re just mates, as much as we can be.”

As for what’s next for Carina, she’s definitely taking a break from relationships to focus on herself.
“I’m not dating, I’m not doing any of that and I’m really just allowing any opportunity that comes my way,” she said.
