Sometimes reality TV couples do turn into success stories… and this one is up there with the sweetest.

It has been around four years since we saw Farmer Will Simpson meet his reality TV match Jessica Cova on Farmer Wants A Wife. 

The Victorian sheep and crop farmer stole our hearts in the 2022 series of the much-loved show, and it didn’t take long for fans to see that his own heart belonged to the Queensland dental nurse.

The pair skipped off into the sunset and have been living out their happily ever after since the cameras stopped rolling. The only thing missing has been … well… the ring!

“She said yes!”

In happy news shared on Instagram, Will and Jess revealed that they have some exciting news… they’re finally engaged!

Beaming from ear-to-ear, the post features a series of loved-up photos of the couple, showing off Jess’s diamond sparkler and catching a sneaky smooch for the cameras too.

“Jess said yes! From farmer to fiancé! Our most special moment yet,” they captioned the post.

Fans were quick to congratulate the happy couple, while other stars from the reality show also chimed in.

“There it is !! Happiness overload for you two,” Tess Brookman, who landed sweet Farmer Harry on the show, commented.

“Yay!!! Finally!!!” fellow contestant Aleisha also added.

And Jess Nathan, who knows what it’s like to turn from Farmer girlfriend to Farmer Wife cheered: “Yaya guys!!! So beautiful.”

“Saying I love this woman is an understatement”

Shortly after the show’s finale, Will posted a short video of sweet moments between himself and Jess, and hinted to fans that this WAS going to be his happy ending.

“As some of you may have heard, I have fallen head over heels for this amazing woman on @farmeraustralia ! @jessicaacova I am so grateful that you have come into my life, you are an absolute ray of sunshine!” he gushed at the time.

“You continue to surprise me and impress me. You are the most incredible person I have ever met and I’m the luckiest man to have you by my side as we take on life together!

“The past seven months have been the best months of my life and I can’t wait to keep making memories and building our life together! Thank you for being you, sticking by your guns and hanging in there for me.

“Saying I love this beautiful woman is an understatement… I hope everyone enjoyed and continues to enjoy our real love story!”

Well, fans certainly have and they can’t wait to see the happy couple walk down the aisle.
