The 2019 season of Married At First Sight was unforgettable for a few reasons, including Lizzie’s rough trot with Sam, Ines’ affair with Sam, Jessika’s affair with Dan, and a certain Reunion Dinner Party moment involving red wine.

We became so wrapped up in their lives that we often find ourselves wondering what happened to the 2019 cast.

From new relationships to new babies, and two success stories, take a look at what the 2019 gang has been up to.

Ning Surasiang and Mark Scrivens

Mark had a complicated relationship with Ning during MAFS, and it ultimately ended in heartbreak when he chose not to pursue things with her at their Final Vows.

But now, they’ve both well and truly moved on and are very happy in their lives…

A glance at Ning’s Instagram shows that she is single and thriving.

In 2021 at age 35, she became a grandmother when her eldest daughter, 17-year-old Nakiyah, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Freya.

Now 39, she recently showed off a brand new look…

Blonde and beautiful!

“In bed by 9.30pm 💛,” she captioned this post in December 2024, where she looked absolutely radiant in a golden floor-length gown.

While she has kept any relationships out of the limelight, Ning did hint at her single status in January 2025.

“Biggest thank you to everyone that has supported me through my “doing me ” journey. It’s so hard going out on your own. I’m not the drama 🤣 know your worth baby xo,” she wrote.

Mark Scrivens

Mark ended up finding love through a different reality show.

He is with The Block’s Bianca Chatfield and the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Kyah Ziggi Scrivens in February 2022.

Bianca and Mark went public with their relationship in 2019 after meeting in a very modern way: online.

During an interview with 9Entertainment, Bianca revealed she was the one who kicked things off and sent Mark a message on Instagram after he appeared on MAFS.

The first message: “Why would you do this show [MAFS]?”

From there the couple met and bonded over their respective TV experiences.

Heidi Latcham and Mike Gunner

Mike and Heidi had a strong start on the experiment, but things fell apart for the couple and they confirmed their split at Reunion.

The groom stirred up debate many times due to his blunt communication style and dismissive attitude towards his wife.

Years on, and Mike is back on reality TV again…

Yep, Mike signed up for Love Triangle Season 3 on Stan, and he’s currently on the series looking for romance at 50.

In the series, five singles must choose from two suitors, sight unseen after communicating via text and calls. They then move in together and form a connection… until their second choice comes knocking.

He’s not had the best luck so far.

“So, I really hate to say this but you’re nowhere near as relevant as you think you are. You are a 50-year-old washed up reality TV star,” one of his dates scolded him.

Here’s hoping things pick up!

Away from the show, Mike is now a filmmaker and is excited about his future in the industry.

Heidi, meanwhile…

Heidi Latcham

Since appearing on Season 6 of MAFS back in 2019, Heidi has kept a relatively low profile and shared her last social media post in 2021.

That was until she broke her three-year hiatus with this very adorable pic confirming that she’s now a mum!

The 43-year-old resurfaced with a sweet collection of photos of her and her baby girl.

“Look what we made!” Heidi captioned a photo of her cuddling up to bub.

In the comment section there was an outpouring of congratulations from fans and fellow MAFS stars.

“Worlds biggest secret. Congratulations legend,” Season 6 star Nic Jovanovic wrote.

Fans were curious to ask what Heidi’s daughter’s name and age was, as well as question Heidi’s relationship status.

But Heidi seemed content to keep those detail under wraps and simply answered that baby girl is “happy and healthy”.

Cyrell Paule and Nic Jovanovic

Outspoken and fiery, who could ever forget Cyclone Cyrell.

She was married to Nic Jovanovic during the experiment, but things didn’t last and they’ve now gone on to have very happy relationships outside of the experiment…

While things didn’t work out with on-screen husband Nic, Cyrell found her happily ever after with Love Island’s Eden Dally.

Cyrell and Eden – who have been together for over four years now – were first linked together soon after Cyrell’s season of MAFS ended.

Cyrell fell pregnant with their son Boston just a few months later.

The couple briefly broke up in October 2019 with the pair deleting each other on all forms of social media.

The couple reunited ahead of Boston’s birth in February 2020 and have been thriving ever since.

And in November 2022, Cyrell revealed Eden had asked her to marry him. The couple never officially posted their engagement by Cyrell let some of the details slip in an Instagram Q&A.

Since becoming parents the couple have thrived and celebrated many milestones together as a family of three and hope to as a family of four in the coming year, with Cyrelle revealing the couple would love to have another child.

Cyrell and Eden went on The Amazing Race Australia Celebrity Edition on Network Ten recently, proving they’re stronger than ever!

Nic Jovanovic

Nic was the cool, collected groom married to Cyclone Cyrell.

They never found the perfect balance but Nic debuted his relationship with girlfriend Alex in July 2023.

The former groom shared a smiley snap of him and his new girlfriend Alex.

“The classic hard launch,” Nic captioned the photo.

Fans, friends and family took the comment section to congratulate the couple.

“You deserve to be happy…she looks like a good egg …kind eyes and a lovely smile,” one fan wrote.

While another said, “Your glow says it all😍😍.”

A third commented, “You look so happy bro.”

A year later in July 2024, Nic announced their engagement with a classic “she said yes” selfie.

Nic decided to pop the question on a private boat tour in Lake Como Italy.

Friends, fans and co-stars rushed to the comment section to congratulate the happy couple.

“Ohhhhhhh amazing news congrats 😍,” MAFS NZ’s Samuel Levi wrote.

“Congratulations,” Season 7’s Steve Burley commented.

While one excited friend said: “I’ve been waiting for this yes post!! Congrats Nic!!”

Jessika Power

Jessika was initially married to Mick Gould on MAFS before becoming involved in a cheating scandal and re-entering the experiment with Dan Webb.

Neither worked out, and Jessika has been updating fans about her personal life on social media ever since..

After MAFS, Jessika relocated to the UK where she has appeared on other reality shows such as Celebs Go Dating and Ex on the Beach.

Things didn’t work out with Mick or Dan and after spending a few years in the UK, Jess returned to the Gold Coast.

She has spoken about her love life many times publicly since then.

In January 2025, Jess debuted her relationship with new boyfriend Ryan (pictured).

But sadly, they split just two months later in March.

“After thoughtful consideration, we have decided to part ways. While our romantic relationship has come to an end we continue to have great respect for each other and appreciate the moments we’ve shared,” she wrote.

“We did decide to make it work but unfortunately for me (just recently) I felt we weren’t progressing how I had envisioned,” she said.

Before that and in September 2024, Jess confirmed her split from partner Brent Anthony, the pair were together for 10 months.

Prior to that relationship she dated Connor Thompson.

She also opened up about her sexuality in September 2023.

“I’m bi myself. People are people, you like who you like. I’m never going to judge that, ever. I don’t care if you just like girls, I don’t care if you just like guys,” she said at the time.

“Just love everyone, I don’t care at all.”

Susie Bradley and Billy Vincent

Susie Bradley was known as the fiesty bride married to Billy Vincent during her time on MAFS.

The couple didn’t make it very far into the experiment, and now she’s the happiest she’s ever been…

After the experiment, Susie found love after with NRL gun Todd Carney who previously played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Sydney Roosters and the Canberra Raiders.

In 2020, the pair announced they were expecting their first child together and Todd proposed to Susie. Todd also stepped into the role of stepfather to her daughter from a previous relationship, Baby.

They welcomed their son Lion Daryl in March 2021 but briefly split in June 2022.

But the pair didn’t stay apart for long…
Susie Bradley

In May 2023, Susie confirmed to 9Entertainment that the duo were back together.

“I think for Todd and I, we didn’t go our separate ways because we didn’t love each other. Love was never really the question there for us,” she said at the time.

“Without delving into it too heavily, Todd and I met right at the end of his professional career. He’d only been technically retired for about three months from professional football.”

It was clear the couple were happy building a life together and in November 2023 Susie and Todd bought a family home in the Queensland Hinterland.

And in January 2025, they married!

The couple confirmed they tied the knot in a lavish wedding celebration at the home on the Gold Coast surrounded by their children, friends and family.

Susie, 31, and Todd, 38, were the picture of happiness in photos shared to Instagram, with the bride looking picture perfect in a backless halter-neck wedding dress.

She wore a gorgeous floor-length veil that skimmed the ground behind her as she walked down the aisle to meet her future husband, who looked dapper in a black and white tuxedo.

Susie shared a photo of her dazzling wedding ring on Instagram, captioning the photo: “Taking a moment to realise I just got to marry my best friend at out beautiful home on the perfect day with our most closest friends and family.

“I love you my husband. Here’s to forever xxxxx.”

Billy Vincent

Since being married to Susie Bradley in the experiment, Billy has kept a pretty low profile.

He dabbles in modelling and doesn’t appear to have had a significant partner since the show.

Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant

Of course, Jules and Cam were one of the major love stories to come out of Season 6.

In one of the 2019 season’s most iconic moments, Cam proposed to Jules during their Final Vows.

They originally planned to marry on the one-year anniversary of their MAFS wedding, but eventually tied the knot during a lavish ceremony in Sydney on November 17 2019, which was aired on A Current Affair.

MAFS has also created plenty of opportunities for the pair. Jules has launched her own shape wear line FIGUR and released her very own book Ask Jules in 2024.

If all that wasn’t keeping them busy enough, they’ve also got kids in the mix…

For Jules and Cam, 2024 was the year they became a family of four.

The couple, who welcomed Carter in July, are already parents to son Ollie who they welcomed in 2020.

Announcing her second pregnancy in February 2024, Jules told Stellar magazine: “We’ve been trying since Ollie was one, and he is now three-and-a-half.

“We were going into 2024 thinking, ‘If it doesn’t happen, we will look at IVF’,” Jules explained. “But I never lost faith that my body could do this again.”

Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli

Martha and Michael were another of the big success stories to come out of Season 6 of MAFS, and their journey outside of the show has been a fairytale in itself.

After meeting on the show in 2019, the pair moved to Bondi Sydney.

In December 2021, the happy couple announced their engagement.

In the almost four years since they got engaged, they’re yet to hold a wedding but that’s because they’ve been very busy starting a family of their own…
