Married At First Sight bride Jacqui Burfoot has plans to continue her career on reality TV, and is looking to one of Australia’s biggest success stories as inspiration.
The controversial bride, 29, hopes to model herself on Sophie Monk, who rose to fame as a contestant on Channel Seven‘s Popstars in 2000, using it as a launching pad for her celebrated career.
‘Keen to build a media presence. I’d love to do Dancing With The Stars, where there’s no drama,’ Jacqui told Woman’s Day magazine.
‘I’ve always seen myself as a bit like Sophie Monk, personality wise. I am funny and don’t take myself too seriously and I can laugh at myself.’
Jacqui has already started her budding media career with a Cameo page, in which she personally connects with fans for a fee, and has made close to $10,000.
She added she hopes to do some TV work with her new fiancé Clint Rice, so they can show people a different side of themselves.

‘It would be great to go on TV again, so people can get to know us as a couple and we can maybe rewrite over our false personas,’ she said.
It comes after Jacqui revealed the truth behind recent pregnancy rumours which emerged in the wake of her engagement to groom Clint Rice.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the reality TV star shared a direct message she received from a fan congratulating her on her happy news and asking if she was expecting.
Jacqui, who Clint, 44, proposed to during a MAFS viewing party on Sunday evening, was quick to set the record straight as she denied being pregnant.
‘No, we are not expecting and I am not pregnant!’ she wrote in the caption over the top of her fan message.
‘The media have been inaccurate on a lot and I don’t have time to see it all, but they should really fact check on these things when it comes to this because I know it’s a sensitive topic for a lot.
‘Come to me for the facts about my body, and Clint and I for our relationship news.’
Clint made his shocking proposal over the weekend, with footage of the Tasmanian businessman getting down on one knee being shared to TikTok.

It wasn’t long before an elated Jacqui said ‘yes’, scooping up her hunk and planting a joyous kiss on his lips.
Later in the footage, Jacqui proudly flashed her blinding diamond ring to her adoring MAFS fans as she grinned.
Jacqui and Clint’s relationship was the talk of the town during the dramatic finale of MAFS season 12.
Her TV ex-husband Ryan Donnelly sensationally accused the pair of beginning their romance while Jacqui was still with him during filming.
During Monday night’s bombshell final episode, the controversial bride took to the couch with Ryan to discuss their three-month marriage and watch it play out on the screen.
However, despite rumours she and fellow participant Clint struck up a romance during filming, she has stayed firm on the fact they only connected after the experiment.
‘After Final Vows things ended pretty badly and I was pretty sad for about two weeks and crying. Clint and I had started talking and we developed a friendship,’ Jacqui told the experts.
‘We started bonding over our shared experience in the experiment and how disappointed we essentially were and then Clint invited me down to Tasmania.
‘So, I just took the leap, flew down with a one way ticket there and we just hit it off,’ she said, adding they have a lot in common and hate being away from each other.
