Married At First Sight star Adrian Araouzou has taken to social media to release his unedited Final Vows with Awhina Rutene.

In close to 2000 words, Adrian addressed many of the issues that drove his storyline with Awhina during the season, after fans heard only a fraction of it in Sunday’s episode.

At one point Adrian appeared to honestly face his feelings about fatherhood, which became a sticking point for single mother Awhina.

‘Was I truly ready to take on someone else’s child?’ he said in his unedited vows, which he shared to TikTok.

He continued: ‘One thing I dreamed of is sharing the special experience of starting a family with my partner for our first time.’

Adrian also sounded romantic at times, explaining in his vows that his honeymoon with Awhina in Fiji was ‘one of the best experiences’ he had ever had.

He added: ‘We shared so much in the short time here and the quiet moments are what I appreciated most with you.’

Elsewhere in his Final Vows, he called Awhina ‘caring, kind and compassionate’.

He also acknowledged the couples battles.

‘At times we struggled to work as a team and more importantly we struggled to communicate in a healthy way,’ he said.

Shared to a MAFS fan site on Instagram, Adrian’s complete Final Vows received mixed reactions from viewers and many said that the heartfelt words did not sound like the groom they knew from the show.

Several also viewers joked that the entrepreneur had made use of AI-generated platform ChatGPT.

‘Well, clearly someone else wrote those words, definitely not him,’ one armchair critic said.

‘There is no way in hell that man wrote that hahahahahha,’ agreed another.

However, one viewer appeared to appreciate Adrian’s share.

‘How dare they short change us like that,’ wrote on fan, which prompted a reply from Adrian, who said: ‘Yeah, let’s get the real story.’

It comes after Awhina and Adrian stunned viewers during Sunday’s Final Vows after first saying they were ready to part ways, only to change their minds.

Adrian and Awhina both admitted to having an undeniable attraction to each other and undeniable hurdles that they couldn’t overcome.

The pair then both decided to walk away from the relationship and leave the experiment separately.

However, as viewers at home waited for the couple to go their seperate ways, they continued to stare at each other lovingly, hinting that it may not be over just yet.

The couple decided to ‘see where this goes’, admitting that they looked at the decision ‘too black and white’ and wanted to give their relationship a crack outside of the experiment.

They then left the final ceremony hand-in-hand.
