The couple were one of the more controversial pairs from season 11 of the reality show, but also one of the success stories.
They were one of the surprise success stories of MAFS 2024 and now Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams have surprised fans once again, but this time with some sad news. The couple, who have been together for over a year announced on Instagram that they have decided to end their relationship.
Jack and Tori were one of the most divisive couples from season 11 of the reality series but seemed to defy the odds by choosing to stay together at Final Vows and beyond. The pair shared the news of their split in a joint statement shared on Instagram on Friday evening, alongside a photo of them from their time in the experiment.
“If you have been following our journey, you know we have always been authentic and true to ourselves,” their message began. “We have invited you in and brought you along for the wild ride. However, today we come to you with heavy hearts. As of a few weeks ago we have decided to end our romantic relationship. We remain the best of friends and still care for and respect one another deeply.”
The note continued, “We are so grateful to have shared so many wonderful experiences together and will cherish them forever. We thank our families for their unconditional love and support.
“We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the love and support that you guys have shown us throughout. With love, Tori and Jack.”
The couple provided no reason for the breakup.
Jack and Tori’s family plans
The news comes after Jack told fans during an Instagram Q&A last year that he and Tori were very happy together but not thinking about starting a family just yet.
“Tori and I are happy building a life we want to lead at the moment. Many things we wish to accomplish first. I’ve said two years,” he said in the Q+A.
Jack also complimented his partner, calling her “gorgeous”.
“She’s a gorgeous person inside and out, loyal and driven and hilarious,” he said.
Who is still together from MAFS season 11?
Jack and Tori’s separation, which comes after she moved from Melbourne to the Gold Coast to be with him, leaves “intruders” Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo as the only successful original paring from the 2024 season.
Ellie Dix and Jono McCullough are also still happily together after they were initially paired with Ben Walters and Lauren Dunn respectively.
As far as the current season of MAFS, the only couples who are thought to still be together are Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels as well as Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice, who also found love after being paired with different partners.
