Guy Sebastian has revealed a major management shake-up on the cusp of dropping his new single.
The Battle Scars hitmaker has parted ways with his long-time manager Jennifer Fontaine, in favour of his own in-house management team.
Fontaine had guided Sebastian’s career since his acrimonious split with former manager Titus Day back in 2017.Â
‘The thing with Jen is she knew I always wanted to have my own internal team and I wanted to be at the table on everything. It wasn’t such a huge shock,’ Sebastian said.
‘She was there at a pretty vulnerable time for me and however this rolls out, I wanted us to remain great friends afterwards.’

Guy Sebastian has revealed a major management shake-up on the cusp of dropping his new single
Sebastian and Fontaine released a joint statement about the decoupling to industry insiders back in February.
‘To say we have kicked goals is a total understatement,’ Fontaine wrote.
‘All due to the powerhouse talent of Guy and my determination to provide a safe and nurturing place for him to be the best he can be.’
Continuing, Jennifer admitted there was no bad blood between the pair and that their parting was amicable.
‘We have always been arm in arm and this remains today,’ she continued.
‘I know what’s coming musically and creatively and I will be his #1 believer and supporter.
‘Change is constant in this business and we have always made every decision with purpose, positivity and respect.’
It was also revealed that Lauren Stamper, who was previously Sebastian’s day-to-day manager, will lead the revamped management team.

It was also revealed that Lauren Stamper (pictured), who was previously Sebastian’s day-to-day manager will lead the revamped management team.
Stamper has also previously worked alongside Fontaine at her agency Private Idaho.
The singer’s long-time tour manager George Said has also been retained in the fold at his Guytunes company, charged with booking live shows and tours.
The publication also reported that while Sebastian will release his tenth studio album on Sony, there are plans in the works to establish a new label to mentor burgeoning artists.
Guy’s former manager Titus Day was jailed for at least two and a half years in November 2022 after a jury found him guilty of 34 fraud-related charges, including misappropriating more than $620,000.
He successfully quashed his convictions on appeal last year and is due to face a retrial in May 2025.
The manager to the stars has continued to deny the allegations against him.
Guy’s management shake-up comes after he sensationally quit his high profile gig on The Voice Australia.
The Australian Idol winner shared the lengthy shock announcement to Instagram in October across several black and white slides.

‘The thing with Jen is she knew I always wanted to have my own internal team and I wanted to be at the table on everything; it wasn’t such a huge shock,’ Sebastian revealed to News Corp

‘I have made the decision to take a break from the best red chair on the planet.
‘It’s been six amazing years as a coach & it’s honestly been the best gig ever! I have nothing but good things to say about the show itself, & sharing the panel with such amazing coaches has been a pleasure.’
Continuing, Sebastian admitted he was walking away from the show to focus more on writing and performing.
‘For me right now, it’s time to focus more on my core, which is writing and performing new music,’ he wrote.
‘I am busy planning shows in Australia & worldwide & I am really looking forward to getting out and connecting with you all there.’
