The brides and grooms searched for love in the Married At First Sight experiment, and for some they found it.

But for others, their pursuit to finding love was disrupted by a lack of connection, no spark or a scandal turning their potential relationship to disaster.

The brides and grooms have left the experiment and resumed life on the outside, pursuing love in all its different forms.

Jack Millar

It’s an exciting time for Jack Millar!

In April 2025, he and Love Island Australia’s Courtney Stubbs announced they are expecting their second child.

The couple shared their exciting baby news on Instagram, writing: “The final piece to our puzzle 🥺✨~ October 2025”.

They celebrated the news with a sweet family video showing 17-month-old daughter, Penelope gently touching her mum’s bump.

The pair’s friends and former co-stars were quick to their their congratulations.

“Hehehehehehe ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ this makes my soul so happy, can’t wait to meet you soon little one,” Ella Ding wrote.

Jack’s MAFS ex Dom, who is also pregnant with her first child, shared her excitement about their children being friends.

“YOU GUYS STOP IT!!!!!!! This is so beyond exciting!! Besties are loading!!!!!” she wrote.

But with another baby on the way, Jack and Courtney also decided to make some other major changes.

It’s been a big few months of change for Jack’s family.

“Life has been chaotic of late!” the former groom admitted in April 2025.

“New baby en route, moved from Sydney to Wollongong, and a whole lot of work in between! Safe to say we are we are both so full of happiness and TIRED!” her shared.

Responding to fan questions, he explained that the move to Wollongong was for a special reason.

“My parents live down here and with a new Bub on the way we will need some help ☺️☺️” he shared.

Jack and Courtney first became parents in 2023, welcoming daughter Penelope June in November of that year.

They have each documented their experiences as new parents on their socials, and had a lot more change to share with their followers following the announcement of baby number two.

Jack and Courtney announced they were having their first baby on Mother’s Day 2023.

“Overjoyed to share our magical secret with you 👼🏼✨,” the pair wrote in a video jointly posted to Instagram.

A small plaque in the sand revealed that “Baby Millar” will be arriving in November 2023.

Since they began dating in July 2022, Jack and Courtney’s relationship has gone from strength to strength.

In January 2023, Jack revealed that Courtney moved interstate from her home in the Gold Coast to Sydney so the pair could live together.

The former MAFS groom said he was “eternally gratefully” to Courtney for making the move so the pair could stop long distance.

Samantha Moitzi

Samantha didn’t find love in the experiment with her groom Al Perkins, but she did afterwards!

In April 2025, the former bride confused everyone with some cheeky pictures flashing her ring while travelling Spain with her boyfriend Max.

But no, she wasn’t engaged.

“2 red wines deep, day 1 in Spain. Don’t worry guys I’m definitely not engaged but I have embarrassed Max xx,” the 30-year-old captioned the snap.

In April 2025, Samantha left Australia with a one-way-ticket to move to London where Max lives.

In January 2024, Samantha revealed details of how they got together during an Instagram Q&A.

She said they met via Instagram and had spoken every day since July 2024, despite him living in the UK and her in Australia.

“I visited London in October 24 and he visited Australia in Dec 24. We said we’d do long distance knowing I was already planning on moving to England and if it was easy and it was worth it.”

Before her move, Samantha kept herself busy with her podcast ‘On The List’ with pal Graison Howell.

On the pod, they discussed what was ‘in’ and ‘out’ while opening up about their lives.

It was also where Samantha opened up about her relationship for the first time.

When discussing her move to London, Samanatha said after a trip to the city she could see herself living there.

“And turns out, one of my friends is actually moving there too – so before anyone says, don’t move anywhere for a man, guys I’m completely aware of that!” she shared.

“If it doesn’t work out, you come home, you find a new place to live. The universe just kind of works out.”

Domenica Calarco

In February 2025, Domenica confirmed the surprise news that she’s expecting her first child!

Dom, 31, revealed the heartfelt news in an emotional Instagram video shared with fans.

“Been a little MIA working on my greatest project yet….. Baby 🐣 due September 2025 🤍,” the reality star captioned the video.

Since then, she’s been candid in sharing her up-and-down experience with pregnancy and opened up about becoming a solo mother.

Following her pregnancy news, Dom confirmed that she would be a “solo parent”.

“I am incredibly excited about this next chapter in my life and feel truly empowered by my decision to step into motherhood on my own terms,” 31-year-old Dom shared.

“While I will be welcoming this baby as a solo parent, I am grateful to have the support of the father in a co-parenting capacity.”

The news confirmed her break-up with ex Jarod, who she had introduced her followers to in September 2024.

She told 9Entertainment at the time: “Yes, I can confirm; I am in a relationship and I am the happiest I’ve ever been.

“I finally have a man that puts me first and it is the best feeling in the whole entire world.”

She and Jarod connected while Dom was working on her mental health in a facility.

She continued: “He was a friend to me throughout my hospital stay, checking in on me all the time which meant the absolute world to me during that extremely difficult period in my life… where I lost friends and my life really changed a lot.”

Despite confirming her break-up, Domenica was elated with the news she’s set to become a mother.

She shared these photos on her Instagram page, with the one on the right marking five weeks since she discovered she was pregnant.

She also shared a sweet video of her telling friends and family, and the comments section was flooded with congratulatory messages.

“Omg this is beautiful congratulations,” said Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm, who welcomed her first child with former MAFS groom Ryan Gallagher.

“Omg congratulations beautiful 😍,” wrote Jessika Power.

“Oh my god Domenica. I’m crying 😭 I’m so sorry happy for you. You’ll be the most amazing mother xxx,” said Eliza Day.

While yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins commented: “Oh my goodness ahhh!!! Congratulations beautiful ❤️✨.”

A huge congratulations to Dom!

In April 2025, Dom revealed the gender of her baby with a touching video.

Dom cradled her growing baby bump before holding up a pastel pink baby onesie and a teddy bear with a pink T-shirt that read “It’s a girl”.

“BABY GIRL, I cannot wait to meet you,” she captioned the video.

In the video, Dom was absolutely glowing as she marked 17 weeks with her “little baby bear”.

Her pregnancy news came after Domenica celebrated the launch of her very own solo podcast, Mad Woman.

“Here’s to the mad ones, the dreamers, and everyone who’s ever dared to own their story,” Domenica wrote online.

Dom’s solo podcast comes after what Dom described as the “deepest, darkest moments of [her] life”.

In 2024 she entered a mental health ward for 21 days after feeling an overwhelming sense of sadness she hadn’t experienced before.

Her long-running podcast with friend Ella Ding also came to an end.

Speaking to her listeners in her first episode, Dom promised that “nothing would be off limits” in her new podcast and that the theme of it all would be resilience.

She recently took a break from the podcast before announcing her pregnancy to the world.

Dom and Ella Ding’s Sit With Us podcast also came to end in August 2024 after two years.

Dom wrote that she and Ella had come to a “joint decision” in a statement posted on the Sit With Us Facebook community in August.

Dom described her time on Sit With Us as “an incredible journey”.

“From the very beginning, Ella and I dreamed of building something special, but we could never have imagined the amazing community that would grow from our idea.

“Each episode, each discussion, each shared story has been a labour of love, and know that our content has resonated with people from all corners of the world has been beyond rewarding.”

A day later, Ella posted her own video statement saying that it was “not a sad thing” and in fact marked a “positive” and “exciting” change for her and Dom.

She also addressed speculation about her and Dom’s friendship.

“There is no issues with Dom and I, there is no problems. It is just a chapter closing and that is OK,” Ella said.

Ella Ding

In April 2025, Ella Ding celebrated her first wedding anniversary with husband Guy.

“I’ve watched this a hundred times… and cried every single one,” she wrote alongside their wedding video.

“I still can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I vowed my forever to the love of my life. To feel this kind of love – whether it’s from your person, your family, or your friends – is the most grounding, soul-filling gift. It truly makes you feel whole… like you’ve found your way home,” Ella gushed.

Ella and Guy managed to pull off an incredible wedding day… much to the surprise of all their loved ones!

Ella and Guy surprised EVERYONE when they turned her birthday party into a celebration of their secret wedding in April 2024.

The pair had married in an intimate ceremony earlier that day and revealed the news with a sweet video at what their friends and family believed was just Ella’s 30th birthday party.

“We said I do & surprised everyone at my 30th birthday party ❤️” Ella announced alongside a video on social media.

Ella and Guy were engaged in February 2024, following a very on-brand proposal!

Guy asked Ella to marry him during a park run. She said yes, and as an extra special surprise all of their friends ran around her while she became visibly emotional and flashed her stunning ring to the camera.

“A morning run turned into a proposal… I SAID YES 💍,” Ella wrote alongside footage of the proposal.

Within months, they’d tied the knot with a very special, unconventional day.

Although her podcast is over, Ella’s certainly still putting her voice to good use.

Since 2023, Ella has been the narrator for Stan’s steamy match-making show Love Triangle.

In 2022, Ella signed up to appear on British reality show Made in Chelsea after sparking up a digital romance with one of the show’s stars, Miles Nazaire.

After jetting over to London to appear on the series, things didn’t quite work out between the duo.

Previously speaking on her Sit With Us podcast, Ella revealed when she and Miles started filming together, things went south very quickly.

“He would say one thing to me and then say something different off camera,” she explained.

“I learnt a lot about myself and really understand what resilience is when I reflect. MIC you were a wild ride, maybe no more trying to find love on TV moving forward.”

Tamara Djordjevic

Since MAFS, Tamara Djordjevic has built a loyal 118,000 following on Instagram, where she regularly shares fitness and lifestyle content.

In 2025, Tamara announced exciting news – she was launching her own activewear brand!

Olivia Frazer

After we entered 2025, Olivia Frazer reflected on having a quiet but transformative 2024.

“For once I let myself sit with my thoughts, take stock and feel everything I’ve been avoiding for years,” she shared.

While it was an uncomfortable process, Olivia said it had brought “the inner peace I needed”.

“In short, healing is boring but necessary.”

Olivia has been spending time back in Australia so far in 2025, after spending a lot of time in Scotland in the past few years.

In September 2023, she answered fans’ questions about her love life and a potential permanent move to Scotland.

One follower claimed that Liv looked happier in Australia recently, and asked whether she wanted to stay here instead of her planned move to the UK.

“No, sorry. All I do is talk about Scotland,” she responded.

“I sobbed the whole flight back to Australia because I didn’t want to leave but wanted to see my family.”

When asked about the details of her overseas move, she said: “This is under review.

“I have every intention of moving, but now that it’s not involving someone else and where they want to live etc, I am going to take my time, save for a house and do it all according to what I want.

“I’ll do visas etc when the time comes. I’m just going to work hard and get it done when the timing is right.”

She also responded to one follower who asked if she’d ever consider getting back together with her on-screen groom Jackson Lonie, Liv wrote: “He and I have always said never say never. But right now, absolutely not because I really don’t want anyone.

“I’m in a huge time out. He and I maintaining a friendship is my priority when it comes to us.”

Olivia faced an incredibly difficult time in 2023.

She jetted off to Scotland after finding love, but later explained it ended in heartache.

“The reason I’ve stayed in Scotland was to give it a go with a man that I’ve spent nearly every day this year speaking with and building something with,” the then-30-year-old said in August of that year.

“It just turned out to be something really messy and cruel,” she revealed.

While she kept details of what happened under wraps, she took to Instagram days later to share this message with fans.

“Just a quick thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write and send me something gorgeous over the last few days,” she wrote.

“You have no idea how much it means to me. I’ve been attempting to write back and will continue to do my best to respond.”

She concluded: “Highlanders from Fort William, I see you guys. Thank you for continuing to have my back and showing up in droves.”

During her time on the experiment, Olivia was partnered with Jackson Lonie. The reality couple called it quits after 10 months of dating.

She also enjoyed a brief relationship with British filmmaker William, but their relationship was only fleeting.

Al Perkins

Al didn’t find a romantic connection with Samantha during the experiment.

Although he’s had a couple of relationships since, all signs point to the groom being a single pringle in April 2025.

In 2022, Al signed up for another reality show in a bid to find love after his failed romance with bride Samantha Moitzi.

He appeared as a Bombshell on Love Island Australia, and came in fifth place with his partner Jessica Losurdo.

Sadly, the duo ended their relationship after filming ended, but still remain close friends.

He also dated TikTok star Hope Kelesis for about 18 months from 2023 to 2024, but confirmed their split in a TikTok last August.

“When you go through a break-up and suddenly every song on radio is about you,” Al captioned a clip of himself listening to music in the car.

“Anyone else felt this 🤷🏻‍♂️,” he added.

Following appearances on both MAFS and Love Island, the reality star got… well, in touch with reality!

Al packed his bags for East Timor in Southeast Asia in July to help build a school for the local community.

“I’ve come to East Timor on a volunteer mission trip,” he told Yahoo Lifestyle.

The trip was organised through his Sydney church. They built schools during the day, and at night, they ran programs for kids in the village.

The carpenter certainly put his handyman skills to use – he laid bricks, helped with construction and even had a go at face-painting.

Al hoped to use his “platform more wisely” by giving back to the community. While this is certainly the start, he wanted to inspire others to do the same.

“Being here makes me realise we cannot complain at all in Australia. These kids don’t even have shoes and they’re the happiest kids I’ve ever met,” he told the publication.

Jackson Lonie

Since his split from bride Olivia after 10 months of dating, Jackson has kept his personal life and new relationship with partner Vanessa on the down low.

However, what isn’t on the down low… his shirts!

Jackson launched Party Bee, a brand of bright and loud ‘party shirts’ in 2024.

Anthony Cincotta

In January 2025, Anthony and his partner Kate welcomed their second child together – a son named Matteo.

“Gabby and Milo are already in love with their littlest brother. Mum and Bubs are doing amazing and I am just smitten. Our family is full and so are our hearts 🥰🥰” the former groom celebrated on Instagram.

On December 25 2022, Anthony announced that and Kate were expecting their first child together.

The couple confirmed the news on Instagram with the help of his daughter from a previous relationship, Gabrielle.

“So @katis_32 and I went to Italy a few months back just the 2 of us and came back as 3 (I blame the city of romance, Venice) pretty sure the travel agent wasn’t planning on that, cos we certainly weren’t,” he captioned the post.

“Gotta say this year has been a whirlwind but we keep falling more in love and now our little family is getting bigger.

“Gabby is going to be an amazing big sister and Kate is going to be a wonderful mum, this little boy will be spoilt, can’t wait to meet you, mate. Oh yeah, I got to pick the footy team.”

In the snap Gabriella held up a series of sonogram photos while Anthony and Kate held up sporting jerseys with ‘Cincotta 23’ printed on the back.

While he didn’t find love on the series, Anthony confirmed he’d found his happy ending with Kate after the show ended.

In 2022, the groom gushed about his new found relationship to 9Entertainment.

“We used to work together,” Anthony said.

The groom explained that she helped him when he left the experiment.

“You live in the bubble and it’s a really overwhelming experience, and when you’re out you’re out,” he said.

“She reached out to me and she was there for me and she helped me make sense of a lot of things and one thing led to another and here we are, really happy and very much together.

“She’s just been absolutely fantastic for me. I can confide in her. I feel like she’s got my back. I’ve got her back. It feels like a team and there’s a lot of passion there. There’s a lot of fire there.”

Matt Ridley

Matt Ridley didn’t find his forever love during the experiment, but he has since!

Matthew married “love of his life” Dominique Nielsen in September 2024, two years after they first met.

The groom stunned followers as he unveiled the news alongside a string of pictures from their lavish wedding ceremony in Brisbane.

“Surprise!!” he captioned the post. “Say hello to Mr & Mrs Ridley.”

Dominique was positively glowing on her big day, opting for a a strapless white wedding gown with intricately detailed lace gloves to match.

Matt couldn’t stop grinning in every photo, wearing a beige linen suit and satin pink tie to complement the theme of the venue.

Matt proposed to Dominique in March 2024, 18 months after the pair met.

Speaking to 9Entertainment at the time, Matt said he knew very early that this relationship was “it” for him.

“We went on three days in the first three nights,” Matt recalled of their early meeting in September 2022. “We were both very smitten. We could tell this relationship was something special. I knew very early on that that Dominique was the one for me.”
