You’d never expect The Block’s sweetest host Shelley Craft to scold one of the contestants but she did, just not for the reason you might think.

Emma, Can, Britt, Alicia and Mat were frantically running around the Freedom store trying to style a sofa to win $5,000 as part of a mini challenge.

It was then that Shelley Craft spotted Emma, who’d just announced she is pregnant’ lifting a coffee table.

“Oh no! The mother-to-be! No. Stop. Don’t you pick that up again,” Shelley firmly warned Emma.

In a piece to camera, Emma explained that “everyone was yelling at [her]” out of concern of course!

The Blockheads’ five-minute sofa styling session saw the contestants chaotically running around the store.

At one point Britt ran into a cameraman with a pot plant.

That cameraman turned out to be Travel Guides star Kev who works behind the scenes of The Block when he’s not travelling the world with his buddies Dorian and Teng.

When the countdown was over it was up to interior decorator and Freedom specialist Sarina to decide who had styled their sofa to perfection.

There were a few key design elements Sarina was looking out for: contrasting colours, textures and matching tones.

Alicia snagged a much-needed win (and $5,000) while Emma landed in second place.
In the end it was Alicia’s chocolate brown sofa set that won the styling challenge. (Nine)
After a “rough couple of days” dealing with ‘copy cat scandal’ it was a win that her co-stars thought were well-deserved.
