Married At First Sight Australia is drawing to an end for 2025, as the remaining couples make a huge decision during final vows: to stay in the relationship, or leave.

Returning for yet another season of love and drama are relationship experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla.

In the first week, the MAFS weddings will reveal which 2025 contestants have been paired into couples. In the first episode, viewers were treated to the bombshell that one couple had known each other from outside of the experiment.

Now, the remaining couples are heading to final vows! While some will choose to give a romantic speech, we are anxiously waiting for the dramatic speeches that will have our jaws dropping to the floor – because drama is always promised on MAFS.

Below we’ve listed every couple on Married At First Sight Australia from the 2025 season.

Meet the 2025 MAFS couples

Lauren & Eliot

Split

Eliot and Lauren were introduced in the first episode of MAFS 2025, but unfortunately their relationship fizzled out exceedingly fast – two days after the wedding… But given their incredibly high expectations for their romantic partner, we didn’t hold out hope that these two would survive the experiment.

“I’ve been pretty consistent with what I’ve been looking for. The person I was matched with was nothing like that. I was expecting to meet a cute librarian-like girl that was younger than me, and I ended up with what felt like a Kardashian sister,” Eliot told relationship expert, John Aiken.

To which John merely called out his “superficial” standards and “toxic patterns” before the groom exited the experiment.

However, this wasn’t the last time viewers would see Eliot and Lauren!

Carina & Paul

Split

These 2025 participants expected to walk down the aisle to a stranger on Married At First Sight Australia, and yet, they had already gone on a date eight months prior. After exchanging vows, Carina swiftly asked the producers for a new husband which was denied.

However, they became one of the experiments strongest couples – until halfway, when the cracks began to show. Paul made many mistakes, however, his wife continued to forgive. But the last straw was when Paul agreed to go on a date with another compatible match for the ‘Final Test.’

Feeling “embarrassed,” Carina decided to end their relationship at final vows while Paul hoped to continue.

Jamie & Dave

Together

We held high hopes that Jamie and Dave would be the MAFS sweethearts of 2025, however, our dreams came suddenly crashing down mere weeks away from final vows.

When Jamie confessed to her husband that she was in love, Dave admitted he just wasn’t at that stage yet. However, the pair made a swift turn around and have decided to remain together outside of the experiment.

Katie & Tim

Split

If there was one word for Katie and Tim’s time during the experiment, we would choose… disaster. Immediately after the wedding, self-proclaimed “nice guy” Tim revealed to the producers he wasn’t feeling a “spark” given Katie wasn’t his type.

“I normally go for short, petite, blonde or brunette. Katie’s nothing what I normally go for,” he said.

The downward spiral continued as Katie remained in the experiment while Tim denied moving into the apartment with her, made a sudden appearance at the first dinner party before abruptly fleeing back to Melbourne.

It was a shock to viewers and participants alike when Tim showed up to the first commitment ceremony.

“I came here for love, not to do work,” he said on the couch. “The number one thing I was looking for was for someone to be here for me… when you feel like someone’s not there for you, like that’s not a partner I want.”

To no surprise, Katie and Tim both decided to exit the MAFS experiment.

Sierah & Billy

Split

Nerves are put at ease once the pair meet each other down the aisle when Billy jokingly gets to one knee ecstatic to meet his bride. The couple hit it off from the get-go and we hoped they would become one of the top couples in the experiment, but unfortunately, our hopes were dashed as Billy and Sierah exited the experiment.

“I’ve tried to give you what you needed, but you don’t give me what I need. I don’t know why, because I’ve expressed every part of my life to you – my mum doesn’t even know some of the things that I’ve said,” Billy expressed during their final commitment ceremony.

Awhina & Adrian

Together

Energy is high at the ceremony when it is revealed that both the bride and groom are twins!

Awhina is taken aback when Adrian jokes in the ceremony about having a six-month-old – which turns out to be a dog. He jokes, “Don’t worry – I don’t have kids,” unbeknown to him that the bride has a six-year-old son.

Since their wedding, Awhina and Adrian’s relationship has been the ultimate rollercoaster ride. So much so, we’re shocked they made it past final vows!

Rhi & Jeff

Together

Both Jeff and Rhi were shocked to walk down the aisle to find that they knew their partner previously! The second couple of the project who had previously dated their future beau.

Nerves were put at ease for the pair, who already know each other quite well.

Although their relationship started out as platonic, they welcomed the experiment with open arms as they attempted to build a deeper connection. And all has worked out for the pair as Jeff gifted Rhi a key to his home during Homestay Week.

So naturally, Rhi and Jeff have decided to continue their relationship in the real world.

Ashleigh & Jake

Split

Ashleigh was looking for a partner with quirks and Jake has delivered on that front. Both have shared values for family and the desire to find the perfect partner to complement them.

Initially, the pair clicked instantly but some controversial comments where the groom during the Photo Ranking Challenge sent the couple into rocky waters.

After Ash sought advice in her fellow participants, Jake felt betrayed and wrote ‘leave’ during the first commitment ceremony. Ash wrote ‘stay’ – forcing the pair to remain in the experiment.

However, that didn’t stop Jake from leaving… he packed his bags the following morning, ending their experience on MAFS.

Tony & Morena

Split

Morena, 57, is looking for a second chance at love with family being of utmost importance. Meanwhile Tony, 53, is looking for someone to share the important times with.

On their wedding day it’s a match made in heaven when the pair lock eyes for the first time. The couple exchange heartwarming vows and quickly learn they share the same values when it comes to family.

But the challenges of the experiment prove the couple to be a chaotic match rather than perfect… Morena and Tony split mid-way through.

Jacqui & Ryan

Split

Bride Jacqui wants the full package, with a go-getter man who will take the lead. While Ryan, a groom with a warrior mentality, wants a bride as good-looking as he is.

The pair have certainly earned the title of ‘most turbulent’ couple of 2025. They faced challenge after challenge – yet continued to stay in the experiment even with Jacqui listing their issues.

However, something clicked for Ryan and Jacqui ahead of final vows as they both decided to part ways.

Lauren & Clint

Intruder couple, Split

Having another run in the experiment is Lauren, after her first match ended in a fiery blaze. She has been matched with Clint, and while she initially held reservations towards getting married again, the pair hit it off and bonded over their shared passions.

However, conflict arose between the couple and the group which saw the pair exit the experiment. Lauren told her husband that they would continue their relationship outside of the meddling MAFS group. However, this didn’t come to fruition.

Teejay & Beth

Intruder couple, Split

Teejay and Beth immediately hit it off at their wedding. Beth was nervous to confess she’d never been in a relationship before. Meanwhile, Teejay felt nothing but “respect” and admiration for his new wife.

But sadly, after that first initial spark Teejay admitted the emotional connection just wasn’t growing for Beth. Feeling upset and rejected – given her romantic feelings were growing – Beth decided to end their relationship just before final vows.

“I don’t want to stand there, [put] on another white dress like I did on my wedding day, pour my heart out to you, pour my emotions out to you, for you to just reject me again. I deserve to be with someone that wants me and is sure about me,” she said.

Veronica & Eliot

Intruder couple, Split

Eliot is back! The runaway groom has been paired with Veronica, a 32-year-old personal trainer and actor from Sydney, NSW. While Eliot certainly lasted more than two days in the experiment, it didn’t help this relationship succeed.

Veronica felt that her husband wasn’t being vulnerable in the way she wanted, meanwhile, Eliot just seemed confused…
