US pop singer Katy Perry will perform in Spain this November as part of The Lifetimes Tour. During the tour, she will promote her new album, 143, and perform some of her biggest hits.

The singer will perform on November 9 at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona and on November 11 at Movistar Arena in Madrid. Doctor Music Promoter confirmed the information and announced ticket sales will begin from March 4.

Perry posted a message on social media: “My Spanish KatyCats! I’ve heard you, I’ve seen you, and I know you’ve been waiting for this. The Lifetimes Tour is coming to Barcelona, and I’m super excited to see you this year!”

Struggles with US ticket sales

Despite Spain’s excitement, Perry reportedly faces low ticket sales in the US, especially in smaller markets.

According to The U.S. Sun, tickets for the tour went on sale on January 28, but many venues still have unsold seats. While major cities like New York see better sales, other locations are struggling.

Backlash over Dr. Luke collaboration

Katy Perry’s album 143 has also stirred controversy due to her collaboration with Dr. Luke, a producer accused of misconduct by singer Kesha.

During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Perry was asked about working with Dr. Luke despite the allegations.

However, instead of addressing the concerns directly, she stated, “He was just one of many collaborators on the project.” This response frustrated many fans, who took to social media to criticize her stance.

Legal battle over mansion purchase

Adding to the controversy, Perry is also facing backlash for a legal dispute involving an 85-year-old veteran, Carl Westcott.
