Viewers aren’t happy with one major change this year.

We’re only two weeks into this year’s season of Farmer Wants A Wife, and longtime viewers have already admitted to turning off the reality show. While the first few episodes have featured shock walkouts, emotional breakdowns and plenty of steamy moments, fans are all saying the same thing about the Channel 7 series.

Not only are people complaining that the season is “boring” and “rushed”, but they’ve also said they dislike how few episodes there are each week. The show previously aired three episodes a week, but has dropped down this year to only air on Mondays and Tuesdays.

One fan recently took to social media to complain about the new schedule, admitting they were “very disappointed with Channel 7”.

“You can’t get into it when it’s only on two nights a week,” another agreed, while a third said, “By the beginning of the next episode on Monday, I have lost interest”.

“Will be over in two weeks or so what a joke,” someone else replied, followed by a different user who said, “Yes so disappointing this year not enough farmers and two days a week is not enough. Not good”.

“Not enough farmers, not enough variety in age, not enough nights per week,” one viewer argued. “MAFS was four and kept you engaged. You can’t remember what’s happened when you have a five-day gap, and there hasn’t been anything interesting enough to remember anyway!”

Many people have speculated that the show no longer airs three nights a week because one of the farmers has been completely edited out, leaving them with footage of only four farmers to work with.

Channel 7 confirmed in a statement to Yahoo Lifestyle last month that there were originally five farmers cast this season, but 26-year-old cattle farmer and professional bull rider Jack Rowlandson’s scenes won’t be shown on TV.

“Eureka and Seven have decided not to include Jack Rowlandson’s storyline in the new season of Farmer Wants A Wife. We will not be providing any further comment,” they said.

Little is known about why Jack was removed from the show, however, there is speculation that it’s because he wasn’t ready to settle down.

Meanwhile, it’s been teased that one of the farmers will leave the show next week after finding love, and an additional farmer will join the show halfway through.

This is similar to last year’s season when Farmer Dean Blanckensee left the show early with his chosen lady, Teegan, and Farmer Todd Melbourne was brought in as his replacement.’
