Married At First Sight star Michael Goonan has left fans stunned after sharing photos of himself wielding a heavy-duty machine gun while on holiday in Cambodia.

The reality TV veteran, 33, recently took to social media to post images from his visit to an army base.

In the pictures, he was seen posing with high-powered weaponry and checking out military equipment.

Behind him an armoured tank and a missile were on display, adding to the dramatic scene.

A second image showed him at a shooting range aiming a rifle at a set of targets as he tested his marksmanship skills.

In 2021, Michael revealed he had ‘made peace’ with his ex-girlfriend KC Osborne after their stint on Celebrity Ex on The Beach.

Michael told fans during an Instagram Q&A: ‘I’ve made my peace with KC, but I haven’t made my peace with Stacey yet.’

The Adelaide businessman then asked his former MAFS bride Stacey Hampton if she was also willing to put their differences aside and be friends again.

‘You want to make peace? I know you’re seeing this?’ he cheekily asked.

Michael described his relationship with KC as a lot more ‘mature’ compared to his on-screen relationship with Stacey.

‘When it comes to feelings and that, Stacey and I would just fight for days on end, so I don’t know,’ he explained.

KC announced their parting and admitted while she thought he was her ‘forever,’ they just simply couldn’t go the distance.

‘It hurts my heart to write this. It’s with sadness that I have chosen to end my relationship with Michael,’ she wrote.

KC went on to explain that the pair had been together for almost five months and that their time living together in lockdown in Melbourne ‘felt like a lifetime while isolating’.

‘Michael became my best friend and five months felt like a lifetime while isolating. I packed my bags and moved in with him with hopes this would be my forever,’ she said.

While not going into detail about the split, KC said she hoped Michael can ‘make some changes’ and said she wishes him nothing but the best.

‘It’s not my place to talk personally about Michael, however I do hope Michael makes some changes as I will always believe in his potential and wish blessings on his life,’ she added.

Michael meanwhile told Daily Mail Australia in a statement that he’s a ‘workaholic’ and ‘hadn’t been able to give KC the time she deserves’.
