Gene Hackman, who won two Academy Awards and is widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of all time, has been found dead at his home in New Mexico.

Hollywood legend Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were discovered dead, along with their pet dog, at their Santa Fe, New Mexico residence.

Recently celebrating his 95th birthday, Hackman’s illustrious career earned him two Academy Awards, two BAFTAs, four Golden Globes, and a Screen Actors Guild Award, solidifying his status as one of the greatest actors in history.

However, questions have arisen regarding the state of the iconic actor’s finances at the time of his death in 2025.

Despite amassing millions throughout his career, he retired from acting in 2004 due to health concerns.
